The poster has stated he needs a steering box and motor. If the original bumper has no chrome chips it just seems like fixing the bumper and spending ins. check on more pressing matters makes more sense. After doing body work for 42 years I know if it was my truck I would be repairing it. This rear bumper on my 98 was bent in and twisted when I got it and it came back with a gentle pull and twist with a bar. I did repaint it as it was rusty and I added the lights.
