Schwinn Stingray for the Truck
Wanted to add some character to my truck, so I picked up a 70's Sting Ray to tear apart and redo to match my truck. I think it turned out pretty nice. No I am hooked on them and have two more sitting in the garage for future projects.

That is nice! you did a great job! I used to rebuild bikes when I was a kid for the neighborhood kids....I guess it was the only way a nerd could be cool and no one mess with him, but it worked for me!

Re: Schwinn Stingray for the Truck
Nice combo! I'm right with you on Schwinns and Chevys. The BOSS did not look happy when I told her that I would like to add some Sting Rays and Krates to the garage because they'd look "right" in there with the old vehicles.
I have a few Schwinn lightweights that fit in. The The blue and white pair are both '69s built in November of '68. The bike is almost 100% original but the car has a few mods but it is a code original 71 Lemans blue car. |
