Interchangeable consoles

Hey guys I just picked up a plain Jane two door base cab 1999 Silverado. I would like to start upgrading the interior. I am guessing the overhead consoles and stuff will bolt right in from Suburban's or Tahoe's? And front seats from four doors? That might be a dumb question to you guys but I guess the real dumb questions are the ones you don't ask. Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

Re: Interchangeable consoles

if it is a standard cab work truck it won't have metal mounting bracket welded to roof to support overhead console. if you get the short standard cab console the headliner will support it if you can cut the headliner just enough to wedge the console mounting tabs above the headliner. it worked for me. the seats will bolt in, but wont have wire harness for power.
