My suggestion would be to stay with Original Equipment Manufactured (OEM) GM doors. If you can find then in a salvage yard you much better off than aftermarket. I have a set of replacement fenders for my 79' K30 I can tell you that they are not the same gauge metal as OEM. Getting them to fit is another matter. If your looking for additional information check out the body shop part of the forum, plenty of good stuff on doors.

No salt is used on Oregon roads so I know where there are no less than six doors sitting in a salvage yard about 5 min from where I am that'll work for 88-98 sheet metal.
