Planning to add booster and dual master cylinder, want complete original type offset air cleaner if you have one.

Round non-oil is preferred. Is the one shown here just an offset base plate? Will the booster-M/C fit next to it?

they both work and both made if adding a brake booster, but since ur doing a doube master im not sure of the fitment...

its centered, the offset version is an oil bath. but i will set pics of this one with the booster. it was designed to make room for the booster....

Did GM make two types which made room for the booster?

they do make a non oil bath offset one, but i believe its for newer models like 67 and up. heres a pic of one from a factory suburban

yes, but some rigs came with oil bath off set if you had the booster and some came with the non oil bath tupe like mine that was smaller to just make room. its kind of a crap shot to say which is truly correct cuz different factories did different things and different options caused that to be futher complicated, not the mention which year went with which part!!! it gets crazy to be correct, cuz no one is truly correct on some item combinations. look around i find the piece you want to go with thats what i did cuz i dont wanna go mad finding parts, well maybe a little mad!!! i have it if you go with my type...

thats the other version, for non booster types. i had 2. if it doesnt have the vent hole at the base its for a V8 if there is a hole its for a L-6
