Re: Birth of a C10
I've got a set on my '76 and I like them. They're pretty common I think. I think they look cool and are functional. Leave the window down a little when it rains. I don't know if that helped but thought I'd tell you what I thought of my ventshades. I love this build. Happens to be one of my top ten on the board. Great story and a great looking truck.

Re: Birth of a C10
Losthope, just ran across your thread and I enjoy your work and how your truck has turned out. Glad you took a chance on it. I know you're busy with all of the other projects you have and it's been a while since you posted, but I had to say my favorite idea you had was the bottle opener on the dash. Cool.

Thanks guys ! Well some stuff has happened since i last posted , i landed the job with Pg&e been working for them about 6 months i work alot of hours and alot of days so it has taken a toll on my cars and home life as well , I come home Eat,Sleep,Shower, then back to work is mostly what i have time for when i get off. thats the major event I Also picked up another project, I didnt need it or want it really a guy and his family were homeless and he need money to get them in a place, talked to the wife and we decided to buy it to help them out so this truck my not stay , or it may since its not hurting anything where its at LOL only time will tell: Second thing thats pretty cool is im going to go see someone on monday about getting a home loan.... Last thing and the thing i think is the best is I GOT A SHOP!!! (that i rent) its slowly coming together heres a few pics of when i first moved in.

Re: Birth of a C10
Man Tim, Looks like things are going well. Congrats on PG&E. Great Job to land there. Hey, I noticed the under dash AC you have. Do you have it working? What kind is it? I've got one that just sits under the dash (not hooked up yet) by Equipaire Model 707. My son is on me to get it hooked up 'cuz it gets so hot on the Peninsula (LOL Not even compared to your neck of the woods!) Good luck on the house as well!
