Remove PTO winch?

Has anyone removed a PTO driven winch? There's a drive line from the winch back to the trans that has three or four joints on it. How do those joints come apart? Can't see any way to disconnect them... Is there a pin that hammers out or ?

Re: Remove PTO winch?

SCRAPE some of the crap off .... looks like a pin near the carrier in first pic and i can see a set screw n the bottom of the joint in the last pic .. the pin could be a (shear pin) made to "shear" off if the unit is over loaded may have cotter pin holding it in remove and tap out "MAYBE"... second pic looks like it WAS a slip joint years ago if so it will have a key-way without any pin or set screw
