black tar/glue under windshield rubber
Any idea's on what i can use to clean all the black sticky junk from around the wind shield opening?

3M makes a cleaner that removes the nasty 3M adhesive, won't hurt paint, I'd try that first.

You could also try using a wire wheel on a drill might make more of a mess so cover everything up.

strongest solvent you can find,brake cleaner works,laquer thinner,carb cleaner...scrape off what you can first,then chemicals for the rest

Acetone works well but go easy when you get down to paint level because it will take it off.
