new lift question ? Skyjackers.

Will new springs settle at all after installation? Front is about 1" higher than rear, Rear is old leafs with block, front is new Skyjacker leafs. Love it otherwise!
Next will be cab mounts. Would think that would make it even higher up front.

Re: new lift question ? Skyjackers.

They should settle, but it may take awhile. A lot of times a guy will slip an add a leaf into the rear to balance things out from the get go. Once the front settles you can always pull it right back out pretty painlessly. As with all things, there is a trade of for everything and in this case the add a leaf will make the rear ride just a bit stiffer.

Where did you buy your lift kit? I was supposed to buy a Skyjacker too but ended up buying a ReadyLift Truck Leveling kit from 4wheelonline.
