What long tube headers for 66 c10 5.3 swap???!!?
So I just bought a set of 5.3 long tube headers thinking they would fit. They dont😞. So my question is what will fit? Do I have to use a custom kit to build my own?! Hope not. Are there any specific for these swaps?

Re: What long tube headers for 66 c10 5.3 swap???!!?
I'd suggest you take a look through some of the builds and existing threads we've had on the subject. If you haven't yet, try the "search this forum" tool (instead of the google search up top) and you can find things fairly quickly. The exact fitment will vary a little bit, since each of us has used slightly different combinations of parts.
Doug Thorley makes a direct-fit longtube for the LS swaps in 64-66 c10s. They are expensive, but very nice and they are a known-fit. There aren't a ton of direct fit options besides that one for this exact swap; however, there are certain other applications which can be made to work. I can't go through all the possibilities, but if you browse through the various threads, most of the options have been tried by someone. Keep in mind, some may require a little massaging to work. Custom is always a good option, but one-off longtubes from a good builder will start at 700 and can easily get north of 1200 for big-tube stainless headers.
