Re: D100 Help

Alternate tinkering is still there, you need to contact a mod to move this for you. Or delete it totally and repost in alternate

Re: D100 Help

I have never liked the dodge trucks but there is something about this one that I realy like. Am I going crazy???

I want to basically leave it as is and make a shop truck for my auto parts store. Indian blanket seat, 5.3l / 4l60E,rims, clear coat.

Any thoughts?

I always thought that the Dodge trucks went moder ugly too soon. Like they were the square body of the 60s. I don't know, I think they are just ugly.

Re: D100 Help

'61-'71 Dodge Sweptline. Gas Monkey built one with a GM drive train in it. More info on them here: http://www.dodgesweptline.org/ Almost got one of these. Couldn't find the right one.

Re: D100 Help

You had me until the GM driveline talk.....

Why not put a late hemi in it? Same amount of work, and you would then have an all Mopar truck.

Re: D100 Help

Had a 1970 D200 almost like it. Very unusual and cool truck. I would suspect yours is close to a 64-65. Not sure about making it a large rear window, kinda neat being a small window like the '67 Chevy/GMC trucks.

Let us know what you decide to do. There are a few D truck fans here.
