Re: Hullo from the UK

Hi,
Just found this thread.
Great looking truck and RHD is a real rarity.
Nice to have more of these cool trucks in the UK.
What's the history of yours? Any idea how long it's been here or where it was imported from?
Will keep an eye on this thread to see how the truck develops.
Just one question, having reversed into your garage how the hell did you get out of the truck?!

Well, first time I have seen this thread.

You should ask the mods to move it to the builds section.

Glad you are enjoying it so much.

I did not realise they had these in Australia.

Never were available in South Africa as far as I know.

But there are RHD examples in SA.

My truck will get Dynamat when I get to it as well.

Ha! I had a Mustang a few years ago, so the garage has a side roller door too - with the truck I just slide along the bench and hop straight out. Unless I forget to open the door first, then I have to get the frigging thing out again and start all over again. It's a chore parking it in there, but as it fits so nicely with 1" clearance all round, it's a shame not to!

Apparently it's Radiant Red - it's been resprayed at least once in it's life, about 10 years ago judging by the stack of invoices that came with it.
