I've been searching and to no avail
Can somebody be so kind to either post pictures or a link on how to the assemble the stock vacume motor link to switch, with the grommets and how the spring is attached. I've search this forum, Google online service manuals and all I find is upgrades and newer style. It's a 49
I would appreciate any and all help in the right direction. I know it's kind of a minor issue but one I would like to solve. Thank you |

Yes I'm looking to see how the spring and link arm attach to the switch and vacume motor with the new replacement grommets.

Re: I've been searching and to no avail
I think it is the same as the later TF. the transmission arm at the head goes down. The other end goes over the gromett and shaft. The spring ends goe in a slot in each shaft. I can't remember the which side goes on which shaft but the length of the arms should be a clue and worse case you will have to switch them. Make sure it works then install the wipers.

Re: I've been searching and to no avail
Do you mean did not park when turned off or would not make a full rotation when running?

Re: I've been searching and to no avail
They did park when turned off! While running they only went one way on, until I shut it down then they returned to off. Still haven't got the spring hooked up yet so not sure if it's fully operational!
