switch from auto to sm465??

Heres what i have
350 engine --350-400 hp
th350 tranny--dead
203 transfer case--3/4 dead
1/2 ton axles--soon to be dead
parts i have
complete truck with 3 on the tree, 205 transfer case, and 3/4 ton axles 10 bolt front and 14 rear with 4.56 ratio

??'s
i want sm465/205 with 3/4 ton axles when im finished
will that 205 case fit or do i have to find one from a 4 speed? any adapters or anything else needed. is a 3 speed the same size as a 4 speed?..so i can use the driveshafts from the donor truck..

i paid 200 for the donor truck and was planning on just using the axles until my automatic tranny dies so now im going manual i just need to know what all i will have to buy sell or trade to get this into my truck..i cna take the clutch pedals out of the manual truck and put into the auto right? if anyone has any advice or info on doing this it would be helpful i want to get all the parts rounded up and then put it all together in a weekend..

thanks
stan

Thats a swap I may consider for my truck some day, except I have a 700r4/208 combo.

Do the gear shifter and 4wd shifter not interfere? I guess not since they did it. But just seems like it wouldn't clear at some point.

I am not sure, I've read that page on CK5 over and over again, and he doesn't mention it, but in the pic's you can't see it, so I don't know.

NO. I have that combo in mine, (factory) the shifter sticks outta the top of the 465, while the T-case shifter is mounted just to the front of the NP205, so its about 8-12 inches (a guess) BEHIND the tranny shifter... Plus the tranny shifter is WAY taller than the T-case shifter, so there's no interference...

Not to be an ass, but that page on CK/5 shows a pretty butch conversion, IMO. There's a crapload of manual trans trucks out there, and the pedals, pedal mounts, etc should be a fairly easy bolt-on swap. Stacked washers, and butchered sheetmetal don't get it, IMO. Fortuantely, Stan has a commplete parts truck on hand... just my $0,02, though
