Just bought them for my 71' SWB daily driver. They look good and cost around $180.00 for the Summit ceramic coated ones. My 72' K-10 has Flow Tech ceramic headers running into Flowmasters and it had no problem passsing emisions.

I have fairly cheap dynomax blackjack headers, and they fit around the 4 speed clutch linkage no problem

My 71' 3 on the tree for now. I just got the headers so I don't know if I'll have to modify or not. I will make it work no matter what needs to be done, if anything.

ChevyDude, look closely at those down by the collector and you should see a part number stamped into the header. That's a Dynomax part number. The Summit 180 dollar ceramic headers are reboxed Dynomax units. I put a set onto my old 72 1/2 SWB a couple of years ago. I have pictures of them if you want. No real complaints I guess. The hang a little low under a lowered truck, but nothing too bad.

I just wanted a cheap set, that's why I got these. Love to see pics Tx Firefighter. I guess hanging low means "Watch it" on the speed bumps eh. My Prowler sits no more than 4" above the pavement and all speed bumps must be taken sideways at 0.1 mph (Crawling), so I don't see these headers being too low. Thanks for the warning though. Will I have to modify to make them work with 3 on the tree?

Chevydude, I too wanted a cheap set of ceramic coated headers so I ordered the Summit brand ones. Then, when they came in and I looked at them real close, I saw the part number stamped into each one by the collector. When I looked around on the web, I saw that it was a Dynomax part number for 63-87 Chevy trucks with small block. I was very happy.

Here's a picture I've posted before of the headers under the truck. The truck now belongs to my neighbor. He left the hood off of the truck for over 6 months, so the weather kind of beat the finish up a little, but they still look prety decent. This truck is lowered 4 1/2 inches in the front with 26 inch tall tires, so it's fairly low. You can see the ground clearance in the picture. When I asked him, he said he had barked them into speed bumps twice since he's owned the truck (about 3 years). When I sold the truck to him, they were still in the box, and he installed them the next weekend on the truck.

I don't know about the clutch linkage, this truck is an auto.

well its nice to know the summit headers are the same thing as the dynomax. thankfully ground clearance is not a problem concitering that my truck will be on 31 inch tires and at stock height
