how many ohms do i need

I am running with the original gas tank behind the seat. I am running all new gauges not the stock cluster but the sending unit I got is for the tank mounted under the bed

should I try to find a sending unit to run the new gauge with the stand up tank

or maybe a new gauge that runs same ohms as the stock sending unit I have ???

no computers I have a 350 chevy with a holly 660 and 700R4

any advice would be appreciated

Factory was 0-30. Most of the newer stuff is 0-90. I'd check the sending unit and see if it lends any info. The back of the gauge should have it listed also.

I'm not sure if you can use the bed sending unit in the in cab tank though just due to the design in how the tank "stands up" vs. lays down for the bed style tank.

exactly that's what i'm saying

i have the 90 ohm gauge and a 30 ohm sending unit because of my old style inside gas tank

question is can i find a 90 ohm sending unit for my tank or can i modify mine?

or can i find a 30 ohm new style gauge
