My 65 frame repair

This is how I bought the truck.. Guess they wanted 2" drop.

So cut out hack job and began to repair and lower it the way I thought would be correct.

Then put in a CPP c-notch and boxed in the inside of the frame. Still a little worried that there is a lot of cutting and welding on the frame with a lot of heat over the years.

But got her frame all solid and then put in 5" drop springs with 2" lowering blocks. Then the front was to high.

So put gave her some 2.5" lowering spindles but kept the springs the PO had.

think she is good now. She ready for paint then dive the heck out of her. O and forgot the rear end was completely rebuilt from new axels to some nice gears (4.10)

they went to so much more effort to lower it than just cutting one coil off. maybe they thought this would maintain the original ride quality. nice fix
