Re: Do you have a 4WD with a 3 SPD on the colum transmission?

You'll need to keep the pivot point in the original position for the lever to go flat parallel to the floor as well as to clear the seat in the vertical position.
I'll use the top of my frame as a reference point off of my setup and the distance from the TC to guide your installation/modification.

What is the casting code on the 3SPD?

Re: Do you have a 4WD with a 3 SPD on the colum transmission?

Here you go Winston, or as the say in Canada "LePimp" . The bracket is cast . Looks simple enough to make. This truck has the short 3 speed trans. The high hump is needed only to clear this tall shifter bracket for the transfer case,

Re: Do you have a 4WD with a 3 SPD on the colum transmission?

Too bad they aren't closer to the 2 gen k series. The 67-72 guys say the 3 speed 4wd was pretty common on their trucks. I found documentation on the 1st gen's with them, but no pics..... but like the rest above....I didn't check the assembly book either.

The three speed in the K 10 and K 20 series was standard equipment according to the Data books , the 4 speed was optional . Should be more out there but I would have to say less common .

Re: Do you have a 4WD with a 3 SPD on the colum transmission?

would be very easy to convert to a 4-speed, since you already have the high hump with the 4-speed hole. The guy I PM'd you about had a high hump with just the transfer shift hole but that was a while back. He has the hard stuff but be prepared to pay a premium price.
