The "speaker" bracket, or whatever it is, is nothing supplied by GM. Truck speakers were only in the dash.

Looks like a factory GM speaker bracket for these trucks to me!

Thanks for that link, just what I needed! I know the speaker is supposed to be in the dash, I'm hoping that bracket is the correct one to put a speaker where it's supposed to be.
