PowerTour 2015 who's going? who's ready?

I didnt see another thread on this,so who is going, what you bringing, are you ready, are you a longhauler?

I'm bringing my 1967 GMC with a 4.8LS, 4L60e, rebuilt 3.73 12 bolt posi, still in primer.

To Do:
Plumb A/C (and hope it works)
Fix a fuel line
Change fuel filter (because why not)
oil change
new exhaust

optional-
paint inside/out
carpet
seat covers
dash pad
rubbers
reseal windshield

My younger brother is bringing his 1949 Chevy 3100 with a newly supercharged LS1.

We need to go thru the 12 bolt and fix a few things.

My youngest brother is bringing a 1967 Dodge A100 (think scooby-doo)

It needs the most.

Steering fixed, flipped axle has awesome bump steer.
Transmission converter is locking in at 10mph for some reason
OD is hit/miss.
Dog house needs install
Has never actually been road tested

Should be a fun week. We did PowerTour back in 2003, longhauled from Nashville to Dallas. This is our second time. Looking forward to it.

-Ryan

Doing the Power Tour is on my Bucket List and of course I want to do the long haul. For me to get to the start of the Power Tour will probably be a long haul as well

Thumbs up Re: PowerTour 2015 who's going? who's ready?

I have done the last 2 Power Tour in my 71 C-10, but unfortunately this year is out for me. Uncle Sam didn't play nice so all my reserve money went to him instead. You will have a blast I'm sure. Jesse is going I know off here but he is driving his Mustang. Have fun and be safe on the road.

Here is a thread I started.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Thinking about it, putting in my new 460 bb in a couple weeks (71 C20) installed a 2004r in the spring behind my current 468 bb with 355 rear so 80mph @ 2k is sweet on the highway. I'd just be doing the first 2 stops though.

Yea I'm not happy about it, but I'm already saving for 16. I will be there next year and hopefully it will head back this way.
Have fun and be safe on the road.
