Too bad of a kinked fuel line bend?

I don't like this bend at all! And it would happen too, when the newly bent in-cab fuel line FITS!

I am going to bend a new one tomorrow....my Harbor Fake Tools bender doesn't do well on 90 degree bends. I'll try and spread out that bend more.

That's not too bad of a kink, but it's not something I would use based on appearance. I used a black cheapie harbor freight bender with great results, just took some strength to bend. You can use some sand in the tube to help prevent a kink but it's going to need a thorough cleaning.

I agree, throw it out and try again. My Harbor Freight bender works perfectly every time, even on 90 degree bends. I use this one:http://www.harborfreight.com/tubing-bender-3755.html

The bad bend won't be visible, but I'll know it's there.

My bender looks the same as the one in the picture so it's probably the same one.

I developed that fuel line piece after bending a piece of wire the way I wanted it. I think the new design is slighter better than the old one that came with the truck---fewer tight bends should allow for easier fuel flow.

I think the kink was due to not holding the bender handles correctly.....the tube didn't slip as it normally would just then and I think that caused the kink.
