Re: WTB floor shift tilt column

Will it work with a gearbox from a 1986 K20 square-body? (Even though I do not own a square-body) I would like it for a project that has a dash mounted ignition switch which I'm working on.

Re: WTB floor shift tilt column

UPDATE:

I have obtained a tilt column from a local junkyard, but it's an automatic column shift. Donor (Chevy based RV) had 77486 original miles. The donor had a dash mounted ignition switch. It seems to be at least similar to a van style. I'm willing to trade for an OEM floor shift tilt 67-72 pickup style, driver quality.

Are you speaking/quoting on an automatic tilt? I cannot speak for your area, but currently here in the NW, pull-out bolt in ready un-restored but usable as is automatic tilts (true truck) are bringing $300.-$350., a pull-out real deal un-restored truck manual tilt column would be $500.-$550. Mel

Re: WTB floor shift tilt column

I've decided to just pluck the gear shift handle from the column and drive it that way. Thx all!
