Re: First ever C10 project
Actually they are no longer than your typical SBC style plug wire. I was able to use a kit from my local parts store that was a universal DIY kit and re used the LS type coil ends. Bit of a pain but I got it in the end...no pun intended..lol.

Re: First ever C10 project
I was inspired recently by a thread from....I can't recall his name right now... but it is in the project section as one owner SWB. He put some smooth panels in his inner fenders so since I had to take mine off to strip them, I went for broke..lol.
![]() Then I found some 73-80 inner fenders in a junk yard for a whole 18 bucks for the pair, stripped them, cut the jack area out, and smoothed them to match the firewall. Also...went a little crazy on the intake. All thoughts and opinions are welcome...won't offend this guy..lol. Thanks for looking. Alex. ![]() |

Wheels are 20x8 up front 20x10 rear. Not sure the back spacing but stock c 10 was what I ordered. I did use a 1/2" spacer in the rear though. Hood struts were pretty easy. I just had to weld on an elbow tab to the fender with a ball socket I got off a Tahoe in the junk yard. I took the stock spring hinge apart and used the triangular tab that bolts to the hood for the top side but flipped them from left to right. The shock was trial and error as far as finding the open/closed length and strength. The parts people weren't able to tell me how much weight they could hold so I had to push down on them in the store till I found one that seemed right..lol. I can get the part number off it if you want. |

Re: First ever C10 project
I was finally able to find the front end parts I've been looking for in a yard the other day. The phantom grill was cool...in the 90's, but I dig this set up more. I also have a plan for the bumper so stay tuned..lol

Re: First ever C10 project
So I got my "custom" front bumper in the mail the other day. I think it gives the front end a cleaner yet still factory look. Thoughts...
