Re: Rare????

I guess they only made one 396 truck in '68 and that's the truck! haha! Nice truck but I'm not sure how rare it is. With no vins stamped on the motors, Numbers matching is a realative term with these trucks compared to the cars.

Re: Rare????

This seller obviously doesn't know their trucks very well (or cars, probably). We know it isn't rare, first of all. But, painting and those other things listed aren't modifications if they are "as original". Do they mean only things not original? Hubcaps and radio aren't original, didn't mention those as a "modification". C/10 isn't a trim package. That's a SPID, not a build sheet. I wonder if they ever looked for the build sheet. Is that orange or 514 Medium Red? Bed steps aren't factory. The steering wheel and column are "modified" to black. I'm sounding like a basher now, but I like the truck. An accurate description is what's rare. Is the left front tire a blackwall? I think it's really nice. I like it. I would like to own it. But, $16k with snow tires on the rear?
