4 SPD back up switch, Ebay pricey little bas@#*<}
NOS I've seen up to $180 so far. This must be a bargain then.
We need to find a close enough or usable solution. http://www.ebay.com/itm/AC-Delco-Rem...torefresh=true

Re: 4 SPD back up switch, Ebay pricey little bas@#*<}
I just used a standard momentary switch.
I have a Lokar shift boot over my factory shifter just to make things look nice, so it also covers up the reverse switch. I just got a cheap momentary switch from the auto parts store and ultimately ended up running new wiring to it since the old wiring was pretty munched up, but it's a very easy way to do it. The only special thing I had to do (besides the wiring, but I don't think that would normally need to be done) was make the whole on the bracket a little bit bigger. Otherwise everything is just as it would have been factory, except the switch is black plastic...and made in China. I think the whole thing including the wiring was less than $10. |

I paid about $50 3 years ago for one....worked every time! Went into the Grey Goose that Delmo restored...maybe he still has the switch?

Somewhere I saw a good explanation of adding a backup switch, now can't find it. But I did see this, if it helps.
