Bent leaf springs?
I saw a local ad for an 81-87 chassis for sale. While looking at the pictures I noticed the rear springs look odd, both sides are bent at the back. I've never seen/noticed any like them before. Does any one have any info on them? Some kind of lowering spring?

Re: Bent leaf springs?
Its a lowering trick on the cheap. Not recommended because it basically ruins the spring and can crack making it unsafe.

My 73 was heated front and rear of the leaf, and coils too.
