A good friend of mine hauls cars all day long. I can't imagine he'd charge much less than 350-400, but I could ask if you are serious!

If you want the 72 picture spread, PM me your email address.

I feel it's a great truck for your purpose. Would need work to make it a NICE truck, but I think it's a good value for a shop truck/first project.
I am very serious. Can you take some better pictures of the truck and/or let me know what areas still needing rust repair (cab)? How are the doors on it? fenders? rad support?

How much for the radiator with the truck? I'll pm you my phone number if you want to call. Thanks.

Rust repair cab - the front upper corners of the firewall. On page 1, you can see there are brown spots that are thin/flaky.

Cab corners, inner and outer rockers, and rear-most part of the floor have been repaired, but the job was not done to show quality standards. A little more work could be done on the rear of the floor to make it air tight (the patch installed is just a little too small). Front floor and the lip between the firewall and cab floor is very good on this one -- minimal (if any) work is needed on the front floor section. There is a small rust spot above one of the air doors.

Has all fresh core support and cab support bushings.

Windshield has about 1.5" of haze from the edge all the way around.

I can't think of anything else on the cab, except the washer pump doesn't work and most of the lines are not even there anymore. Dash pad is pretty nice, glovebox (and the actual box) are good, radio area never cut.

Passenger side door was repaired by me. It's solid and opens/closes nice, but could use a little better finishing job.

Drivers side door needs lower inner and outer repair.

All weatherstripping on both doors is in poor shape.

Front fenders could use the front lower patches, and some eye-brow work on the passenger side from a light fender-bender I assume.

rad support has the normal rust all the way through the fenderwell under the battery. The bottom strip leading into the engine bay is a little thin in spots.

Grille is perfect

Hood has rust on the inside lip. Was never repaired and really doesn't need anything done about it (IMO anyway)

No rust in the bed, I did back it into a pole, and gave it a very small crunch, but not a big deal.

Tailgate is pretty solid but dented.

There is no exhaust. It comes with SBC engine stands, and you'd need a crossmember.

I have 2 different driveshafts lengths that you could choose from (no front yoke included) the LQ4/T56 driveshaft has new u-joints and support bearing. I also have another driveshaft from a factory 292 inline truck that had a 3-speed manual trans in it. You could probably take the front half of that shaft off and put it on my good one if you needed something longer.

Trailing arms are separating (never worried about it )

E-brake cables are new.

This is the radiator I have with the optional $100 wiring harness and thermostatically controlled fan switch: http://www.entropyrad.com/index.php?...d&productId=14

I would take $250 for just the radiator, but would need to get $500 with the fans, wiring harness and thermostat switch (never installed, hope I can find the switch!) There is a dent in the upper inlet pipe (I received it this way and didn't realize it) but I had no problems with it. Otherwise looks like new inside and out and fits right into the factory spot.

I can't think of much else to say about the truck. 1970greenc10 is coming today, maybe he will give his unbiased opinion of the overall condition

I appreciate all the pictures and great description. As I said on the phone, I'm going to try to look at a shortbed I heard about locally asap and let you know something....but if someone else is interested, by all means sell to them. If you were just down the street from me it would be gone right now

Interested in the roller. Would like to come down and look at it first. I think you are about 2 hours away from me. Please message me if that is possible. Thanks, Tim

Yep, it's marked up nicely. Won't have problems finishing it.

Frame, wheels and tires, trailing arms, front suspension, rear differential (I think the differential is empty, it might just be a housing... not sure, although... the axles are in there and being held on by something!!), whatever else is there, $100.

If I have to physically separate the frame from the trailing arms, front and rear suspension, etc, it will cost you more

Do you really just want the bare frame? I'm not even sure I want to go through all the effort of stripping it down. For the $100 price tag on the entire thing, I'm not sure you can blame me for not having the desire to strip it down.

If you really don't want the trailing arms, I'll yank them and charge you $50 bucks for whatever is left ???

Ok Sounds good. If you have that much of a problem getting a trailer, I can deliver for $40. If gas wasn't so expensive, I'd do it for free

Hey Jim, do you still have the tailgate and all the hardware that attaches it to the bed sides? I'm also looking for a passenger side fender if you've got one.

Doesn't look like he has been on the board since 2011.

Thanks LockDoc. I hate to drag up an old thread like this for nothing.
