Re: 1962 single to dual master cylinder

Yes, I have that same one. Also not sure what to do about the clutch line.

Re: 1962 single to dual master cylinder

I'm in the process of converting my 1961 short Stepper single pot Brake/Clutch MC to a Dual pot (Front/Rear) and separate Clutch MC.
Sorry for all the links, but they are smaller than pics which I have loaded into a photobucket. (see the link below) My installation is not yet complete. Captinfab's bracket look much better but I am on a low budget.

Firewall location

You will need a T--Bar nut or something to back the bolt in the middle of the clutch hole in the firewall.
<a href="http://s1238.photobucket.com/user/thekingburnett/media/1961%20chevy%20k10/DOUBLER-234_T-BAR_Sketch.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff483/thekingburnett/1961%20chevy%20k10/DOUBLER-234_T-BAR_Sketch.jpg" border="0" alt="DOUBLER-234_T-BAR_Sketch photo DOUBLER-234_T-BAR_Sketch.jpg"/></a>

T-Bar
<a href="http://s1238.photobucket.com/user/thekingburnett/media/1961%20chevy%20k10/DOUBLER-236_T-BAR_StepSide.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff483/thekingburnett/1961%20chevy%20k10/DOUBLER-236_T-BAR_StepSide.jpg" border="0" alt="DOUBLER-236_T-BAR_StepSide photo DOUBLER-236_T-BAR_StepSide.jpg"/></a>

Installed T-bar nut in cab
<a href="http://s1238.photobucket.com/user/thekingburnett/media/1961%20chevy%20k10/DOUBLER-240_T-BAR_Installed.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff483/thekingburnett/1961%20chevy%20k10/DOUBLER-240_T-BAR_Installed.jpg" border="0" alt="DOUBLER-240_T-BAR_Installed photo DOUBLER-240_T-BAR_Installed.jpg"/></a>

Doubler drilled in firewall
<a href="http://s1238.photobucket.com/user/thekingburnett/media/1961%20chevy%20k10/DOUBLER-268_Drilled.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff483/thekingburnett/1961%20chevy%20k10/DOUBLER-268_Drilled.jpg" border="0" alt="DOUBLER-268_Drilled photo DOUBLER-268_Drilled.jpg"/></a>

Clutch doubler installed.

Re: 1962 single to dual master cylinder

Sorry, I guess the links are not working. Just go to the photobucket link in the signature and look for the Doubler pics.
