Paint gun Swivel
Does anybody have any experience with using a paint gun swivel on your paint gun. Is there a reason not to use one? Just curious if this would be a good solution to my air hose getting in the way when I have to paint hard to reach areas. Please see pic, this isn't mine, one I pulled from the internet. I think I would rather put my regulator attached to my paint gun, and attach the swivel to the regulator/air hose. I am thinking something like this: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...ct_36635_36635

Re: Paint gun Swivel
I have never used one. I haven't had any issues with my airlines getting in the way either. What type of hose are you using? I bought an extra soft/flexible hose that way it wouldn't be as much of a pain to paint in difficult areas.

Re: Paint gun Swivel
3/8 hose, but it has a plastic jacket on the ends of it where it wont let you bend the hose right at the end. Bought my hose from home depot. I might go that route and try to find a hose without the plastic jacket on the ends.

Re: Paint gun Swivel
Those type swivels work great. I got em on my paint gun and air ratchet., at work we put em on the end of the airhoses and put the female quick connect on other side,,then they work with whatever you hook to it.

Re: Paint gun Swivel
That was my thought as well. Any loss in air pressure? I assume the cheaper versions are junk as most things are. Any suggestions for a good version?
