1970 yellow and 1971 blue hub dials

I have just made contact with another company about reproducing the original hub dials for the 70, 71 & 72 3/4 ton 4X4s. That would be with the original and licensed spicer markings. They confirmed to me that the original tooling was destroyed long ago. Witch explains to me why the company I had been negotiating with wasn't moving forward with theirs. They were purported to have the original tooling. Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know I hadn't forgotten about these and am doing my best to make them available. They will be made in the USA also, unless something happens that I don't know about. WES

Here are the OE style lockout dials/knobs in blue and yellow, just happened to have taken these pics a few days ago for identification purposes in another thread. Mel

I guarantee Wes knows all this, but it's good to show so others can learn. And, there's always someone who wants to see "pics" . I assume we're talking about whimpy little 1/2t hubs, right?

Re: 1970 yellow and 1971 blue hub dials

What holds the plastic dial on? Is it possible to swap these out for other styles? The reason I ask is on my '64 K20 I have the same hub lock but the center is red and says "FORD" unfortunately...
