Weird question
Does anyone have pictures of where the wiring goes into the cab from the engine? And what's the grommet look like? If you haven't guessed, mine bad. And any tips to seal that up would be great.
Thanks guys. |

Re: Weird question
are you talking about the main harness? the harness has a few exit points. I think the engine one is by the trans tunnel right behind the engine...

Re: Weird question
I have two that come in on the left side right above the fuse box. There's a really good chance it's not supposed to be there lol. That would be par for the course with this truck.

Re: Weird question
Here's a pic of the engine harness where it goes through the firewall:
There is a similar looking (and slightly larger) bulkhead connector above the fuse box that has 2 plugs on the under-hood side for the generator/alternator/headlight and front parking/turn signal wiring harnesses. The cab harness side of that connector (and grommet) looks like this when it's removed from the truck: Here's a firewall grommet set that includes both of the wiring harness bulkhead connector grommets along with some others --> http://www.classicparts.com/1960-66-...ctinfo/42-805/ |
