Does this cross-member fit next to the parking brake cross-member or does it need to be removed?

Im not sure. I purchased it for my stepside, misplaced it and purchased another one. Then found this one. I used mine on a manual trans, but this is actually listed for the auto's. When I installed it behind my big block, the engine is forward 1" and I was able to use the two forward holes on the ebrake assembly for the two rear holes on the trans crossmember.
I have a factory trans crossmember for the fleetside so that's why I'm getting rid of it.
