I'd say someone sat a camp trailer down on a truck chassis to build that one. I've seen a few of them around here done that way. Usually years ago before motor homes were very common.

Here's a bigger one mounted on a Mercedes chassis that I found on the net.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

I agree, the lower panels are different design, ribbed. He says he has a plastic tote full of manuals on the camper. Need to go thru them and see if there is anything that ties them together.

I think the camper looks quite a bit newer than the truck?
