58 seat and wheel cylinders

I am trying to get my 58 C60 farm truck fixed. The pack rats ate the entire interior. I need to rebuild the seat and would like to know what kind of foam people are using. Also I need a reliable wheel cylinder rebuild kit for front and rear and need a source for those also.

Thanks.

Re: 58 seat and wheel cylinders

I got the necessary materials from Perfect Fit for the seats. I would like to sand blast the springs and repaint them. They are rusty from the mice.

I did get rebuild kits from RockAuto for the wheel brake cylinders. I honed them out as best I could. I wish I had a little more coarse set of stones but I don't think they make them for that hone.

Thanks for the tips.

By all means blast the seat springs. If you don't the rust will chew up the new material very quickly. I blast them and use rustoleum paint on it

fyi: they didn't make a c60 until 62
58 thru 61 is apache up to 1 ton, viking is 1.5 and 2 ton, spartan is anything above 2 ton
