62 Fleetside metal
Anyone have or know where I can get a patch for this hole? I might just try and source the same thickness in sheet metal but thought it would be easier if the bend was already there.

Re: 62 Fleetside metal
That piece wouldn't be very difficult to make from 18ga sheetmetal. The front cowl corners would be the same radius and often times those can be found for inexpensive. A junk door would work too. I don't throw away any 'bad' body parts. You never know what you might be able to use them for.

Re: 62 Fleetside metal
I just cut out a 12" section from my fleetside on both sides of my truck when converting to a shortbed. I am on duty right now until 0800 tomorrow morning but I could send you what you need for free! Heres one of the sections leaning up against a bedside. Surface rust only and would clean up nice. Just let me know man.

I also have some junk fleetsides. I live in North Idaho so shipping would be cheaper. Let me know and I can cut the piece out for you.
