Door springs
I have been trying to purchase 2 door relay latch springs - 3 different well know suppliers have sent the wrong items and so far none seem to give a darn, they just ship what their suppliers give them - anybody ever think to check ?? Here are the differences - obviously the original, but broken, spring on the left is what I am needing - and you see what they all sent - all of them the same wrong part. Would an .055 piano wire wound into a spring work well ? TIA, Don
So while I have it apart.... Last edited by Donaldo; 05-29-2015 at 01:38 AM. Reason: add |

Re: Door springs
Man, you sure are picky....LOL I don't know if piano wire is "springy" but might be worth a try. Wind it around a pipe of right sized pipe and bend the ends. Make a bunch and sell them of Ebay.
