A few more short beds "Fresh off the farm "

I bought a few more 67's I found out here in Gods country East Tenn, The "blue" one is a one owner running and driving and has the usual rusted rockers but everything works right down to the old yellow fog lights ! The second one is another unfinished project that came with a ton of parts and a posi 12 bolt rear . Both came with clean titles and you can't have a truck in east Tn with out a record from hank Jr behind the seat http://http://http://http://http://http://

The original owner of the "blue " one said he had repainted it a number of times original blue then green then red then gold and he decided to sell it to me when he saw his grandson start spraying it flat black and he just couldn't see it like that and sold it !

Re: A few more short beds "Fresh off the farm "

Neat finds!

It's odd that a one owner truck has been repainted so many different colors over the years (NOT disputing you at all, just commenting). Most one owner repaints are the same color (that's the way they bought it because that's what they liked.) I see yellow, blue and white... and some red on the hood and front fender?

This is one "rat" who was finally fed up with the rat race and moved way out! we shoot skeet off my front deck and I can site my rifles without someone calling to complain ! it's nice just to lock the gate and not be bothered by anyone .

The "blue" truck was just listed for sale on ebay if it doesn't bring what I think it will I'll tear it down and restore it original , The other truck I need some parts from so it will be a TOTAL PART OUT I don't like tearing them down but I need that short frame and I will be listing a bunch of parts for sale in the classified section tonight

Re: A few more short beds "Fresh off the farm "

Hi ,Here is a link to the Ebay ad--------

http://www.ebay.com/itm/221786777726...CA:MOTORS:1123

I have found a number of these old trucks by searching Craigslist ads and a few by looking in back yards while driving these old back country roads ,I've also bought a couple by spying them in the background of the pictures people have listed for a different item for sale .I found and bookmarked more than 20 yesterday within a few hundred miles of here I'm mostly chasing 67-68's and I'll buy a whole truck just to get the original part in great shape I'm looking for or if it's sporting a usable short fleet bed, I buy unfinished projects and most come with extra parts in boxes many I haven't even looked thru yet . It's all a lot easier to do when your retired and have space to stack them up and I have 2 farms to hide them on now with the prices climbing the same way we all saw Camaro's do in past years ...it's better than money in the bank !

The reserve is $2,500.00 for a running '67 short bed with a clean title and a ton of parts worth more than the reserve check out the picture of the rear 67 step bed fenders ,There in good shape ! and you get an extra bed to go with it .
