Column shifter

Would adjusting the linkage 350 tranny bring the backup lights on in reverse ? Right now when in park , the shifter is over to the left side of the column indicator. Backup lights nowe work in & around reverse. Thanks

Re: Column shifter

Yes it can. Adjust your linkage to get the column indicator in line. Then the backup light switch can be adjusted on the column under the dash. Just block up the truck so it won't roll. Place the selector in R and adjust the switch. It helps to have another person to watch the lights for you.
