Able to lower bench?
I'm a tall guy (6'4) and while the ride is good in the truck, I do sit a bit high.
The seat has been reupholstered at some point and the foam redone. Has anyone removed some of the foam from their seats and was the ride still ok? Wanted to stay as stock as possible. Not that I don't mind bending over and peering out at the traffic lights like a five year old.

Re: Able to lower bench?
I'm 6 foot and already have to bend down to see the lights in my truck. lol You have my sympathy. Some of the foam was pulled from my seat and I didn't know and one time I sat down and literally fell through the seat...it worked though.....I was finally low enough to see the stinking lights!

Re: Able to lower bench?
I bet you could modify the mounts to make it a little lower.
I know the front mounts could be cut down/redone to be shorter, I just can't remember what the rear mounts are like... |
