'64 gmc park lights

I have searched but can't seem to find how to remove the park light housing from the hood. I bought a replacement hood and have to use my original housings an.

GMC are totally different than the chevy version.....they have 4 small clips built on the housings that hold them in place.

Disconnect the park light bulb and wiring from the housing and you should be free to remove the assemblies. A flathead screwdriver should be able to access the small tabs on the lens assembly from inside the hood. If I remember correct, GMC riveted the lenses to the assemblies originally

FYI their a b*tch to remove if that area wasn't kept clean. I nearly tore mine apart getting them out.

Thanks everyone. I got the light buckets out using 2 screwdrivers and a small hammer. Fortunately I saved the old gasket because the new replacements are mis-shaped and would be very difficult to stretch and get all the rivets in. Old ones were still pliable and look/feel great with some hot water and soap.
