bucket seat consoles

I've been looking for a OEM style center console with cupholders in bright blue. All of the vendors I've checked only have black. Thanks for any help.

Re: bucket seat consoles

Find you a good original 73-80 cupholder console. The repops aren't quite like the originals. They were all painted to match interior. The 69-72 style were the seatbelt style console. Trevor

Re: bucket seat consoles

Buy some paint and paint it blue (SEM dye-paint for interiors) I have a blue one, but live in Canada

Re: bucket seat consoles

The only difference i have seen in 70-72 consoles and the later 73+ is the seat belt buckle retainer vs cup holder. You can swap the seat belt retainer out for the cupholder. As stated above, they are all black and painted to match. I started off with a red one and spent several days stripping it to get it back to black, then painted it with black trim paint. BTW i have a base, driver quality lid, seat belt insert and trim ring for sale. (No center section-it was busted and irrepairable) $50 plus shipping. Photos have been posted before if you search my other posts.

Re: bucket seat consoles

Any idea of the paint color for the OEM blue interior? I want the console to match the seat covers and door vinyl as close as possible...

Re: bucket seat consoles

Just wanted to let everyone know that LMC has an exact color match paint system for the factory blue interior. I'm using this dye (paint) on the console. Buy all three parts in the system. So far, very happy.
