wheel size

hi out their new to this site just bought a 72 short bead c 10 I don't like the wheels it came with so I bought some 17 x8 riddlers all same size ready to buy tiers but have no clue what size any thoughts?

I assume you want the truck to run at the same RPM, so go to a good local tire dealer, and they can match a tire size for your rims that will give you the same tire height as the original tires in the truck.
