Anyone used 6 x 5.5 to 5 x 5 wheel adapters?

Re: Anyone used 6 x 5.5 to 5 x 5 wheel adapters?
anything with a pattern change is a minimum 1.25" thickness, but because the 5x5 pattern will lay on top or close to two of the 6x5.5 studs, I would bet it would have to be a two piece adapter and 2" would be the minimum thickness. I havent actually seen any pattern changers that go from a 6x5.5 to 5x5 but I am sure they exist.
a two inch adapter will push the wheel out two inches. if you are working in backspace, subtract two inches so a 5 inch backspace with the adapter will have 3 inches backspace. if you are working in offset, subtract 49mm of offset so a +12 will become a -37mm offset.

These are some crazy scarey adapters.
They are 2-piece and are actually bolted together with bolts. I would not run these.

I sent my original axles back to Moser Engineering and had tem change from 6 to 5 lug. Been like this since 1996 and no problems.
