Thanks Guys for the comments....
The cab is still outside so I use a bit of rattle can primer to just keep the rust from coming back too quick!!! Its all gonna be blasted when its done and a heavy coat of prime put on then. More things done - rough-ed in the bed holes, rail ends and fitted some of the other parts. I have decided to go with new steps and rear fenders, just dont want to waste time and money on these to make them right. I did cut out the air vents, man that area collects alot of DEBRIS!!!! glad to be rid of them. Then I welded in new corners at the bottoms that were rusted out. I made my own patch panels like KEES does! thanks Buddy for the incentive.
