Hello all!
Just wanted to officially introduce myself. Im from KS and Ive been coming to the site for a while now to look at your builds and do some drooling and wishful thinking hoping some day I would own one of my own. Im finallly happy to say that day has come! Mine is a 72 C10 that came from the OKC area. Shes got some "patina" on her but overall its a pretty complete truck with some surface rust underneath. Im currently in the process of rebuilding the entire suspension both front and rear, adding discs on all 4 corners, power brake booster and lines, steering gears, etc.... Now I just need to find some bigger wheels that will fit my new setup. Current 15s are rubbing the tie rods.
I hope to have some of the original parts up on the classifieds soon. Just thankful for a site like this with so many people who know more about my truck than i do!

Yes sir...good eye! Nothing too special just a 600cfm edelbrock. It does the job. Also put disc brakes on all 4 corners, hence the power brake and prop valve job. I also put on new drop spindles, springs, tie rods, and ball joints. Shes startin to look a lot better. 4.5/6 drop. Now my problem is my 15" wheels wont clear the new tie rods where they tie into the spindle. They are rubbing pretty bad. If you know of anyone in our neck of the woods with some 17-20" wheels with a 5x5 bolt pattern....let me know!

Yep, we're neighbors. I'm up your way a lot. You going to bring your truck to the car show here in September?
Also I dont know if you know about the Mid West All Truck Nationals in Rverside. Thats a good show.

Re: kansasc10 new member

I was going to ask you if you went to any of the shows around here. I guess great minds think alike. I plan on bringing the truck to the show in Sept. as long as its together and I havent gone totally mad and tore it down to the last nut and bolt. Im heading to the KC swap meet here in a second to try my luck at finding some tires for some Ridler 695 wheels I bought last night. Hopefully this rain decides to take a breath for a minute or two.
