42 Chevy
I've found a 42 chevy pick up for a decent price, a friend looked at it today. Going to try and look at it in the next wk or so. The guy had several hot rods he was working on, passed away not to long ago, his son also has bad health so he's selling. The top has been chopped I think around 4 inches. He said its in pretty decent shape but has been subframed with a Camaro clip. Don't care fore that, a little to wide in my opinion. I'll get it checked out and update. I'm thinking like a semi pro street deal right now. What years are we talking on interchange on body parts, 41 to 46? I need to buy a old chevy truck so I can get back on this great forum!

Re: 42 Chevy
Didn't get it. The chop was really done nice. Only problem is the guy that worked on the drs scrapped them. His complete truck was a cab, 2 drs, and a frame that he welded, and I mean welded the cab to. I think he had a chance to sell most of it before I got down there and got rid of it. Only problem was he still wanted $2500 for it.
