Re: The Blue Magoo, bye bye straight 6
Using ECE Mounts to clear the AC
Trim the 4L80 to clear exhaust off the F-Body manifolds Mod the ECE crossmember because of the 4L80 Cheapo Jeep tank with Filler added to the top Modified 87 Suburban Sending unit with 01 Silverado Fuel Pump Plasma cut some exhaust manifold flanges Made a gas pedal Adapter plate PCM Location using stock Silverado Mount Repaired my Inner Fender... They should really make this a patch panel Using car water pump with spacers in case I ever decide to use a car intake and it gave me a steam vent port in the spacer in the process. Dual Black Widows Truck Oil pan..... Needs to be addressed Used a billet Roll bar mount to hold my filter Getting closer

Funny Rob. Your work is a world nicer than mine. I'm jamming on it tho. Jumping in the Power Tour with it in Alabama.

Very cool. Those new LS motors are the cats azz.
I'll have to remember that little trick with the steam port. I just drilled an 1/8" hole and threaded it, inserted a pipe to barb fitting, and jambed the hose on.

Looks great! I love the mirrors on that truck, you don't see them very often on the SB's. How do you like the swap? I'm thinking of ditching my 6 somewhere down the road but I will be having a shop do it, just a bit beyond my abilities.

Re: The Blue Magoo, bye bye straight 6
Thanks guys. The mirrors are either love em or hate em. They were in the bed of the truck when I bought it so I put them back on, now it wouldn't be right without them. Kinda like the c-channel rear bumper.
The ls swap is a no brainer to me. Too many positives not to do it. I've got 2 more setups waiting on new projects. One is a 5.3/4l60 and one is a magnacharged 6.0/4l80. I'm sold on it.
