Question Truck buying opporitunity came up....Looking for opinions.

A guy at my work is selling his '86 C10 LWB. It has a 4.3, TH350 tranny, 2.73 rear. The body is decent for being in Minnesota, there is some surface rust. I was thinking of picking it up from him to part it out. He is asking $300. I am just looking for opinions from everyone to help in my desision.

Go for it. For 300.00 bucks I would trailer down and pick it up if it was half good. Good buy.

Thanks for the input everyone, I think I am going to go for it. Now I just have to wait until spring to dig it out of the snowbank.
