I think the 3/4 coils were available as an option (HD Coils). In the restoration catalogs they are interchangeable at least.
That looks like a really nice truck for someone. I am assuming it has a straight 6 and the lack of trim probably means it is not well optioned which is not a bad thing and it looks to be in great condition.
