1969 K20 axles
I'm new to the forum and to the 1969 K20 I just picked up. Its really ugly but mechanically sound. I'm really enjoying driving then old girl around. I'm hoping to pick up a doner and in one swoop get some new skin on her. Eyeing a gear vendor add to make her a little more practical going down the road. But my question is really about axles. I'm sure there are threads out here on this, but I just didn't find one that simply adressed my question. If I wanted to get to 4 wheel disk brakes, what axles are the most practical way of doing that? Also I have the Eaton posi lock on the back. What are those worth? Would love to find somebody trying to get back to stock to trade for disc equipped axles.

Re: 1969 K20 axles
You can add disks to the eaton ho52 with 14 boltff caliper brackets and mid 70s 3/4 ton front rotors. As for the front axle 71+ will be a bolt in swap. You likely have to change your master and proportioning valve as well.
